Beetlejuice (1988)
Tim Burton’s 1988 film, Beetlejuice, brought all the rave reviews in the fashion department. One of the most iconic moments was when Winona Ryder, who played Lydia Deetz, diverted from her usual goth-like style in the wedding scene. Lydia wore a vibrant red, tulle dress in this scene that was extravagant. We also have to pay a tribute to Beetlejuice himself and his forever iconic white and black striped suit. While the red wedding dress was altered by Aggie Guerard Rodgers, Beetlejuice’s suit was completely designed by her.
