Pamela Anderson's iconic characters from TV shows and Films such as Baywatch and Barb Wire have been an influence on many Halloween costumes throughout the years. Last year, when Hulu's controversial limited series Pam and Tommy made light, Pamela Anderson recently revealed in an interview with Variety, "It just looked like a Halloween costume to me." To set the record straight, Pamela herself is more than just that. She is making a comeback using her voice to reclaim her own personal story with a documentary on Netflix, Pamela: a Love Story and her new memoir, Love, Pamela: A Memoir of Prose, Poetry, and Truth. In honor of celebrating her journey, we are taking a special moment to talk about her status as an ever-growing fashion icon, not just another Halloween costume.
Pamela's Classic 90s Updo:
It is no surprise that Pamela Anderson is known for her gorgeous bleach-blonde hair and perfect hairstyles. Not only was her hairstyle loved by many in the '90s, but Gen-Z is also calling this hairstyle, "Pamela Anderson Hair." In a video interview with British Vogue, Anderson revealed that she uses a g-string to get her perfect classic 90s tousled updo.

Pamela's Iconic Outfits:
Pamela’s style is fun yet daring—while promoting Barb Wire in 1996, she was seen wearing a lot of latex and leather-inspired clothing pieces. Though, one of Pamela's most iconic looks to date has to be her 1999 MTV VMA look—paired with an ostentatious feathery pink hat, by designer Ivy Supersonic, a white corset top, and sequined embellished pants. These two looks express Pamela's fun and playful side while staying true to herself.

Her Impact:
Being the icon she is, Pamela has unknowingly inspired the fashion looks of a whole other generation, Gen-Z. From her classic hairstyles to her bold smokey makeup, and fun outfits Pamela Anderson has continued to make her mark as a fashion icon. She owned up to the title when she showed up to the red carpet premiere for her Netflix documentary Pamela: a Love Story in a red beaded dress, inspired by her red swimsuit from Baywatch.
