The biggest night in Hollywood, the 95th Annual Academy Awards, recently took place on Sunday, March 12th in Los Angeles, California. Although there were many honorable nominations and wins, we get to see these individuals' personalities through a different lens; the lens of fashion. Designers such as Versace, Dior, Vera Wang, and more did not fail to bring some of their most creative and gorgeous looks to the carpet. Keep reading to see what looks your favorite actresses brought to the red (dare I say, champagne) carpet.
Here are some of the looks from the 2023 Oscars champagne carpet:
Lady Gaga:
Lady Gaga who performed at the Oscars wore a Versace dress that was recently shown at the Versace Fall/Winter 23' runway show. The dress had a sheer black bodice, with a built-in corset showing the detailed silhouette. It also had a unique belted ball skirt worn low on the hips and extended even lower down in the back. Gaga looking glamorous as always, wore red lipstick and dark smokey makeup to complement her gown. She wore a diamond collar necklace, with a matching bracelet and ring. Adding more to her bold look, her hair was in a low slick back bun with a subtle braid.

Eva Longoria:
Eva Longoria wore a silver gown created by designer Zuhair Murad. The gown was inspired by an Art Deco effect. In an interview with Vanity Fair, Longoria mentioned that her, "primary goal was to be comfortable", and this gorgeous dress did the job. The unique dress that is featured in Zuhair Murad's Spring/Summer 23’ collection, also has a special addition to the dress that wraps around her neck, which was a floor-length choker mimicking a necklace. In addition, Longoria wore simple statement Chopard diamond earrings and rings. Her hair was styled slick back in a wet look, with volume to bring her look altogether.

The true highlight of the gown was the giant red puff bow, and slit on the side, adding some complexity and variance to her gown–which flowed beautifully onto the champagne carpet. The dress was paired with bold silver jewelry from Bulgari and matching red platform heels from Stuart Weitzman.
