Madame Web, the newest film within the Spider-Man Universe, premiered on February 12, 2024, in Los Angeles, California. Many of the stars from the movie, such as Dakota Johnson and Sydney Sweeney, showed up in spider-themed gowns and embroidered designs, paying homage to their respective characters. Dive in to uncover their choices for the premiere!

Dakota Johnson:

Dakota Johnson, who stars in the film as Madame Web herself, was spotted wearing a captivating dress to the premiere. The sheer, fishnet diamond-encrusted gown seemingly resembles that of a spider web, a nod to her powers in the film. The final touch for the look was a simple diamond collar necklace and strappy black heels. Such a plunging neckline and spaghetti strap ensemble was a sure-fire way to keep the attention on Johnson!

Sydney Sweeney:

Sydney Sweeney, who portrays Julia Cornwall and Spider-Woman, wore an alluring spider-themed gown. The top half featured a sleeveless, scoop neckline and structured corset with web-like sequin embroidery patterns. On top of that, the lower half transitions into fringe tassels that are bewitching in movement. The actress opted for simple silver rings and forgoed a necklace to keep attention on this enchanting design. The nude and black sultry look had a stunning contrast from her airy blonde hair.

Celeste O' Connor

Celeste O’Connor, who plays Mattie Franklin and is one of the two Spider-Women, wowed the red carpet in a bold red ensemble. The actress was styled beautifully by the renowned Jason Rembert, who chose a 1920s-inspired gown by South African designer Gert-Johan Coetzee. The gown is fully hand-beaded with a halter neckline and beaded fringes that encapsulate the 1920s aesthetic. To top off this crimson dream, O’Conner wore red Jimmy Choo heels, a dramatic voluminous cape, and a mesmerizing bedazzled spit curl.

Isabela Merced

Last but by no means least, Isabela Merced, who portrays Anya Corazon and Spider-Girl in the film, equally stunned the red carpet in a 1920s-inspired look. The top half of the gown features a scale-like pattern that flawlessly trickles into a bedazzled mesh skirt. The pattern then reappears towards the end of the gown's train. The final touches to this all-black look were black pendulous earrings, rings, and a spit curl on her forehead and sideburns. As one of the newest spider heroes, Merced was styled for the premiere by the talented pair Chloe and Chenelle Delgadillo. The stylists deep-dived into the Versace archives at Tab Vintage, where they discovered this S/S 1999 atelier Versace haute couture piece, once worn by supermodel legend Naomi Cambell.
